Covid-19 Response: Open and Taking Precautions
Due to the Coronavirus outbreak, we will be taking preventative action very seriously at Freeland CDJR’s Service Department by utilizing our early bird/night drop box during regular business hours. We will complete all requested repairs along with our multi point vehicle inspection, as usual. We welcome credit card payments over the phone and will leave your receipt in your car to minimize all human interaction. All of our service technicians will be wearing gloves to limit the spread of germs inside your vehicle. We will also sanitize your vehicle before and after any service is performed! It is our hope that these precautions will allow you to receive car service while practicing social distancing as recommended by public health officials.
With the recent emphasis on ‘Social Distancing,’ we at Freeland CDJR are doing whatever we can to eliminate the risk of exposure to our customers and employees! If your vehicle is in need of service then don’t worry, we will come pick-up your vehicle, have it serviced, and then deliver it back to your driveway! We can take payment via credit card over the phone, and leave the receipt in your vehicle when we return it!
Our staff is taking every precaution to ensure your vehicle is clean and germ-free when you drive away! Any and every vehicle that comes through our service bays will be wiped down and cleaned of all germs and contagions, BEFORE and AFTER it is serviced. Want more peace of mind? All of our service technicians will be wearing proper gloves and masks to limit the spread of germs throughout your vehicle!
- We are following all preventative guidelines provided by the CDC in regards to hand-washing and face-touching. Our employees are aware of the seriousness of this outbreak and understand their role in preventing the spread of germs.
- We will thoroughly disinfect the touch points of all vehicles AND all touch points throughout our dealership. That means that one of our employees will be responsible for wiping down the key fob, dashboard, seats, and more before you make any contact with the vehicle.
- We won’t shake hands after our service is complete, but will leave your receipt in your vehicle when we return it to you, whether that be via a home delivery or at our dealership. However, an “air” high-five or fist bump is totally allowed…and even encouraged!
